Social downtime is commonly about 7–10 days for moderate settings. Redness can last weeks.
New surface after about a week. Collagen remodeling continues for months, often peaking around 3 months.
Follow-Up
An early healing check is commonly arranged within about 1 week after fractional CO₂ laser; more intensive treatments may need earlier or more frequent checks. A further review around 4 weeks can assess recovery and guide your return to regular skincare. Confirm your exact schedule with The W MedSpa, because treatment depth and healing determine timing. Keep any earlier appointment your provider arranged. These are healing reviews, not automatic repeat-laser appointments. Contact us immediately for warning signs rather than waiting for follow-up.
When to contact us
Call The W MedSpa promptly for a fever of 101°F (38.3°C) or higher, chills, increasing pain, spreading redness or warmth, worsening swelling, or thick yellow or green drainage. New clusters of blisters or cold sores, bleeding that does not stop with gentle pressure, and raw areas that are not healing as expected also need review. Seek urgent medical care for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, eye pain, or vision changes. If you cannot reach us promptly for an urgent concern, seek medical care rather than waiting for a text reply.
