Follow-Up
A filler review is commonly arranged around 2 weeks after treatment, with assessment sometimes deferred to 2–4 weeks while swelling settles. Your provider will assess healing, symmetry, and any lumps before deciding whether any adjustment is appropriate. Timing depends on the filler and area treated. Follow your individual plan, and contact us immediately for the warning signs above rather than waiting for this review.
When to contact us
Seek immediate medical attention for unusual or increasing pain, or skin near the injection site that turns white, gray, blue, or blotchy. Call The W MedSpa immediately as well - these can be signs of reduced blood flow. Do not wait for a routine appointment or text reply. Call 911 for any vision change, sudden weakness, facial drooping, trouble speaking, or difficulty breathing. Call us promptly for increasing redness, warmth, swelling, fever, drainage, open sores, or new or persistent painful lumps. Swelling or lumps that return after initially settling also need review.
