AFTERCARE

Morpheus8 Burst

Your essential recovery guidance, designed to help you feel informed and supported after treatment.

After-Care Timeline

Timeline

First 24 hours

Cool and rest

Cool with fan or air as directed. Expect heat and tightness. Avoid sweat, hot tubs, saunas, and swimming for 24–48 hours.

Days 1–3

Gentle skincare

Use a gentle cleanser, pat dry, and a bland moisturizer. No picking. Makeup often waits 24–72 hours.

Days 3–7

Let skin flake

Small scabs may form and flake. Let them shed. Use mineral sunscreen after your provider’s clearance. Avoid extra sun.

After about a week

Restart slowly

Restart actives only when cleared. Daily SPF helps keep results.

Results & Healing Timeline

Minimal downtime. Redness and warmth for 1–3 days is typical; tiny scabs may flake over the first week.

Tightening can show immediately from swelling. Visible change often 4–6 weeks, with continued improvement for 3–6 months. Existing FAQ notes 2–3 sessions.

Follow-Up

A progress review is often planned around 4–6 weeks after Morpheus8. If a treatment series is recommended, sessions are commonly spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, but your provider must confirm that your skin has healed before the next treatment. Collagen-related changes develop gradually, so a later results review may be useful around 3 months after the final session. Your provider may arrange an earlier healing check based on treatment depth and your skin’s response. Contact us sooner for warning signs.

When to contact us

Call The W MedSpa promptly for worsening pain, spreading redness or warmth, increasing swelling, fever, pus or drainage, or a new cold-sore outbreak. Blisters, burns, open areas, or skin that is not healing as expected also need assessment. Report new or persistent numbness, tingling, weakness, or unexpected dents or loss of volume in the treated area. These are not routine signs to ignore after radiofrequency microneedling. Seek urgent medical care for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, and call 911 for breathing difficulty.
